Virginia Hey, devotee of health and wellbeing, is best known worldwide for her roles on TV and film, however all throughout her adult life Virginia has also pursued her passion for studying natural therapies, Reiki, nutrition and Homoeopathy, as well as perfume and soap design and inner and outer beauty. Miss Hey also loves outer beautyand style and was a fashion editor/stylist for 2 magazines in Australia.

Miss Hey moved from Sydney to Los Angeles in 2002, and in 2012 located to the UK touring making personal appearances and also teaching meditation. Miss Hey has her own signature range of exquisite perfumed products and Meditation MP3s available White Flower Lei launched officially in LA in 2002.

Miss Hey's acting career began following a successful modeling career, where she was spotted by casting directors and placed in her big screen debut with Mel Gibson in the film classic Mad Max 2: Road Warrior, in which she portrayed Warrior Woman. Since then, Ms. Hey has also appeared with numerous international stars, including George C. Scott in Mussolini, Heath Ledger in Roar, James Bond 007 Timothy Dalton in The Living Daylights, and Christopher Atkins in Signal One.

Her career in front of the camera started as a fashion model whilst she was attending a Fine Arts diploma course, soon she found herself snapped-up by casting folk and began her acting career opposite Mel Gibson in her first big break in Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior (1981)(aka "Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior") as the "Warrior Woman". She was also one of the Bond girls in The Living Daylights (1987) and, most recently, played the multi-award-nominated blue priestess "Zhaan" in Farscape (1999) (1999-2004).

In the 80's and 90's Virginia used her public spotlight to bring attention to natural health and beauty regimes, and was a regular popular fun guest on Australian chat shows, which led her in turn to begin teaching health, nutrition, beauty and meditation during her 30 year career in the public eye in Australia..

In the mid to late 90's in between acting roles Virginia was a freelance fashion and still-life stylist, and then became a fashion editor in Sydney for "For Me" and "Bride to Be" magazines until she stepped into the iconic acting role of "Zhaan" on Farscape, for which she was nominated for a Saturn Award.

Miss Hey was brought to the USA in 2001 on the wave of Farscape fan frenzy. Miss Hey received her "Alien of Extraordinary Ability" Greencard in 2002 and settled into Santa Monica, California, USA until May 2012 when she embarked on a Appearance tour of the UK for 3 years.

While she was in the USA from 2001-2012 Virginia worked further on her design skills. Having made perfumes for herself for 30 years, Miss Hey was convinced by thousands of fans at conventions across the US to offer her perfume publicly. For 11 years Virginia worked tirelessly on two exquisite candle and perfume lines, White Flower Lei and Virginia Hey Couture, both launched in Fred Segal Los Angeles.

Miss Hey continues to audition and take acting roles while she is residing in the UK.

Fan Favourite: Virginia, being a fan favorite at Comiccon Appearances due to her friendly chatty disposition, travels extensively doing Appearance dates at Comiccons each month throughout the UK, with occasional visits back to the USA to greet fans at Comiccon Appearances.

Virginia has had a life in fashion, art, TV/film performing, and has been a guest of chat shows in Australia for decades.

Virginia Hey's adult career has been in the public eye and on television and in the media. Virginia is very comfortable chatting onscreen about beauty, health, fragrances, candles, fashion and lifestyle products, and was even a host on a shopping network for a season.

Virginia has also been a celebrity guest at hundreds of personal appearances at conventions talking on stage for 2 hours at a time, but mostly residing at her signing table for 10 hour days entertaining fans by chatting to them and signing autographs.

The fans are often shy and so Virginia must fill the silences with chatter and make the fans feel comfortable and welcome at her signing table. (A convention signing table experience is like hosting a radio chat show for hours.)

So Virginia has become such a fan favorite at personal appearances all over the world, and to this day attends an Appearance several times a month.

Miss Hey plans to return to reside in the USA in 2017.

Virginia is a natural entertainer and has always had a love affair also with radio during her 40 years in the entertainment business. Since moving to the UK Miss Hey has had 2 of her own radio chat shows and is keen to embark on further radio chat in 2016.

MORE INFO ON MEL GIBSON: Mel Columcille Gerard Gibson was born on January 3, 1956, in Peekskill, New York, USA as the sixth of eleven children to parents Hutton Gibson, a railroad brakeman, and Ann Gibson, who was born in Australia and died in December of 1990. Though born in the US, Mel and his family moved to New South Wales, Australia. After high school, Mel studied at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, performing at the National Institute of Dramatic Arts alongside future film thespians Judy Davis and Geoffrey Rush. After college, Mel had a few stints on stage and starred in a few TV shows. Eventually, he was chosen to star in Mad Max (1979) and in a movie called Tim (1979), co-starring Piper Laurie.
